I love the color green, books, and trains, trains & more trains! I am a kindergartner at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School in Louisa, Virginia, and I love my school, especially art and library classes! My teacher, Mrs. Francis, is really nice, and the kids in my class are really kind. Our principal, Mr. Cleaver, is pretty cool too!
When I'm not in school, I love helping people. I love helping my mom sell cool things online and I love helping my dad fix big trucks! We also spend time giving back to the community, too.
One of my favorite ways to give back is to take books, and sometimes school supplies, to my Little Free Library in the Town of Louisa as well as other little free libraries in Louisa County such as Six-0-Five Mobile Home Community, Louisa Laundromat, and Central Virginia Health Services (CVHS). The more libraries, the more books, the better!
Also, every year on Christmas Day, we visit the old folks in the nursing home and visit their rooms to give them candy canes. They love it! After that, we go by a Blessing Box or two and fill them up to the brim with goodies. This is just a few of the cool things we do throughout the year!
It makes me so happy to help others! I hope it makes you happy to help others, too. Together, we can make a great team in our community! Until we meet again, friend, choo choo! Thank you for all you do!
With love,
Andy Woolfolk IV
